Feder "Fire Light" (2018-2022) : Photo-bioactive molecules and nanoparticles
Today, light is the basis of numerous applications that address major societal challenges such as the environment and energy, but also health. Its use for diagnostic or treatment purposes constitutes the main focus of modern photomedicine, a field of increasing expansion. This generally requires the use of adapted photoactive molecular agents, capable of efficiently converting light energy into waves, heat, luminescence or motion. In this context, the main goal of the "Fire Light" project is the development of new molecular tools for photodiagnosis or phototherapeutics for anticancer and antibacterial purposes based on different types of photoinduced events.
